HOUSTON, Texas - Police are searching for a Fil-Am nurse after his family reported him missing in Houston.
Glenser Soliman, 44, was last seen February 16. He called to check-in before his shift as a nursing supervisor at St. Luke’s Hospital where he has been employed for the past 10 years.
But Soliman never showed up for work.
Aileen Abardo, a co-worker and close friend of Glenser said, “Our manager was looking for him. Kasi he is no call, no show. So sabi ko naman, that is very unlikely na hindi sya tatawag. Dahil kilala ko siya.”
Glenser’s SUV, a metallic gray BMW X5 with a vanity plate that reads “CHUBEE,” was also missing.
His sister, Arlene Lantion, said the house alarm was set, and that his bed was not made, veering away from his usual routine.
Relatives also said nothing was out of the ordinary inside Soliman’s home.
Glenser’s loved ones have gone down the list checking toll road records, arrest reports, retracing his work route, and the local hospitals.
“His nurse manager had the staff calling hospitals looking for his name and John Does,” said his sister. “We went, we found two John Does. We went to check hoping that one of the John Does was him. But it was not him.”
Glenser’s cell phone was also turned off, disabling the tracking features.
Police have told the family they “don’t have enough leads” to conduct an effective search for Glenser.
The family has created and distributed flyers, hoping someone will recognize him and come forward with information.
“He’s a responsible person, he will not just leave the house without letting anyone know,” his sister said.
Anyone with information regarding Glenser Soliman’s whereabouts can call the Houston police department.
