HONOLULU - A Filipina pharmacy worker pleaded not guilty last week after being charged with taking nearly $700,000 worth of medical supplies at the health center where she was formerly employed.
Authorities accused 47-year-old Stacie Lynn Pihana of ordering more than 2,000 cases of diabetic test strips while working at the Why-Anai Coast Comprehensive Health Center from July 2016 to September 2017.
Pihana allegedly resold the strips to a source that sold them on the black market.
After avoiding authorities for two weeks, Pihana turned herself in and posted the $250,000 bail shortly after.
Her trial is set for the week of March 19.
