The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued its decision on the controversial burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani. The country’s highest court voted 9-5-1 in favor of the burial, which drew mixed reactions from the public.
The Marcos family and their supporters celebrated and called for reconciliation with those opposed to the decision.
