Still reeling from the 6.6 magnitude earthquake that hit Mindanao on October 16, another powerful quake rocked North Cotabato and adjacent municipalities on Thursday, damaging buildings and causing residents to flee their homes.

A hotel in Kidapawan nearly collapsed while a residential condominium in Davao City sustained heavy damage due to the temblor.

It was the third powerful earthquake to hit Cotabato in the last 2 weeks.

Here are initial images of the aftermath of the October 31 earthquake.
