Children look on as olive ridley sea turtle hatchlings are released near the shoreline of Natipuan Cove in Nasugbu Batangas on Monday. The turtles, released by barangay councilor Edgardo Herrera, are the most abundant of all sea turtles in the world yet their conservation status is “threatened” because they nest in a very small number of places, and any disturbance to even one nest beach could have huge repercussions on the entire population. Netherlands tram shooting

A gunman who opened fire on a tram in the Dutch city of Utrecht injuring several people, is on the run, police said.
