LOOK: Tagaytay Picnic Grove after the eruption

One of the famous tourist spots in Tagaytay, Picnic Grove, was not spared by Taal’s wrath.

Known for its magnificent view of Taal Lake and Volcano, fresh air, and lush greens, the 13-hectare park is now covered in thick mud and ash.

Picnic Grove and many other tourist spots in Tagaytay remain closed to the public due to possible health and safety risks from an imminent hazardous Taal eruption.
