Hoping and praying for a broadcast franchise

ABS-CBN employees and supporters hold a prayer and candle lighting activity outside the ABS-CBN compound in Quezon City on Thursday for the approval of the network's franchise application. The House Committees on Legislative Franchises, and on Good Government and Public Accountability heard the summation of arguments for and against the granting of a fresh 25-year franchise for the media giant on the same day.
