Taking flight from Manila amid COVID-19 lockdown

Passengers wearing protective gear queue inside the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 in Parañaque on Friday. NAIA Terminal 1 will remain open while Terminals 2, 3 and 4 will be closed as flight movements dropped to 50 from 768 per day amid flight restrictions, according to the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA). Luzon was earlier placed on a month-long lockdown, barring air, sea and land travel, to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease.
