MAYNILA — Hindi pa man opisyal na idinedeklara ang pagsisimula ng tag-init ay nagpaalala na ang gobyerno sa mga sakit na maaaring makuha tuwing "summer."

Sa panayam sa TeleRadyo Serbisyo, nagbigay ng health tips si Health Assistant Secretary Albert Domingo.

SUNBURN

Gumamit ng proteksiyon gaya ng sunscreen o iwasang magbilad sa araw mula alas-10 ng umaga hanggang alas-4 ng hapon upang maiwasan ang sunburn maging ang heat stroke, ani Domingo.

Kung makaranas naman ng sunburn, mahalagang maligo upang mapreskohan ang katawan.

Makatutulong rin aniya kung papahiran ang balat na may sunburn ng aloe vera para sa paghilom.

"Kung sakaling mayroon tayong mga butlig-butlig, or blisters, huwag nating putukin kasi nai-infect ‘yon," dagdag ni Domingo. 

BUNGANG-ARAW

Puwedeng magka-bungang-araw ang isang tao kung "masyadong mabigat ang damit" na suot ngayong mainit, ani Domingo.

Nagkakaroon kasi bungang-araw kapag nababarahan ang sweat glands ng tao, aniya.

"Maligo nang madalas," payo niya sa mga tatamaan ng bungang-araw, na madalas makita sa itaas na bahagi ng katawan na tila butlig-butlig.
