At least 15 passengers were injured after a bus fell of a cliff along the village of Candiz, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte Wednesday afternoon.
The bus, owned by Alga Bus Liner, was carrying around 35 passengers bound for Siocon town when it encountered a mechanical problem and plunged into a ravine.
Bus driver Alexander Belando said the bus rolled over six times before hitting the bottom of the cliff.
Among the survivors were two infants who miraculously only sustained minor bruises.
Eight of the wounded passengers were brought to the Henry Villa Hospital in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay while nine others were rushed to one of the hospitals in Siocon town.
The police are still investigating the accident as of press time.
