MANILA - The Bureau of Immigration said Thursday it has arrested 69 foreigners allegedly working without appropriate visas in Clark, Pampanga.

Among the arrested were 45 Chinese and 24 Koreans illegally working in Dongwang Clark Corporation and Clark Sunvalley Country Club, said the Immigration.

Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said the foreigners were working under tourist visas in construction sites of these companies.

"This is a call to our kababayans to remain vigilant. Report all illegal activities of foreign nationals to the Bureau of Immigration for appropriate action," Morente said.

All 69 foreigners were brought to an Immigration facility for deportation. The bureau conducted the operation last Monday with the help of personnel from the Clark Development Corporation.
