UPI, Maguindanao - At least 7 Marines and a police officer were wounded after three blasts rocked different parts of this town from late Friday night until before dawn Saturday.
The first explosion happened around 11:30 p.m. at the detachment of the First Maneuver Platoon of the Maguindanao Provincial Public Safety Company.
A cop was wounded in the incident.
After 10 minutes, a second explosion took place near the Nuro Bridge in Barangay Nuro.
At about 1:10 a.m. Saturday, another blast went off near the Philippine Marines battalion headquarters just as members of the Marine Battalion Landing Team 5 were on their way back to base.
The blast left 7 Marines wounded.
Upi police chief Senior Insp. Merle Glemao said they have yet to identify the group behind the series of explosions.
