MANILA - The schedule of the 16th Special Shari'a Bar Examinations has been set on January 19 and 26, 2020, the Supreme Court announced.
The one-page resolution dated November 5, 2019 and signed by Clerk of Court Edgar Arichete also announced the appointment of Court of Appeals Associate Justice Japar Dimaampao as chairperson of the Board of Examiners of the bar exams.
It is likewise authorizing the Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC) to accept applications to take the Special Shari'a Bar Examinations until December 15, 2019.
The Sharia or Islamic law is applicable to those of the faith in the Philippines. Sharia courts are supervised by the high court.
