MANILA - The Court of Appeals (CA) will be holding its first en banc session out of Metro Manila.
On December 3, the CA, under the leadership of Presiding Justice Romeo F. Barza, will hold its en banc session in Davao City.
In a statement, the CA said the session outside Manila will be held to increase the presence of the court in its provincial stations, as well as to recognize regional interdependence.
Matters of significant importance will also be included in the Court's agenda, including the proposed amendments to the 2009 Internal Rules of the Court of Appeals (IRCA).
As the second highest tribunal, the Court holds en banc sessions to decide on rules, policies and other matters, pursuant to Rule I, Section 5 of the 2009 IRCA.
