MANILA (UPDATE) - Planning to watch this year’s SEA Games opening ceremonies at the Philippine Arena?
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Saturday released a list of routes and fares for buses spectators could take to go the opening ceremonies' venue in Bulacan in what has been touted as the “biggest” SEA Games yet.
There will be point-to-point shuttles for spectators coming from the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) and the SM Mall of Asia terminal in Pasay City for those coming from the south. One-way fare will cost P150.
Around 60 passengers can be accomodated in each of the vehicles, MMDA Spokesperson Celine Pialago said.
Those coming from the northern part of the metro can take P2P shuttles from TriNoMa in North Ave. and Ayala Cloverleaf in Balintawak.
SM City Clark will offer P2P shuttles for those coming from Pampanga.
One-way fare for Trinoma, Ayala Cloverleaf and SM City Clark is at P100.
Only transparent and small clutch bags will be allowed inside the vehicle.
Spectators will also be frisked for any prohibited items, which shall be surrendered to authorities.
The kickoff is set Saturday night, with top personalities in sports, entertainment and politics expected to attend.
