The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Monday that 21,198 elementary teachers and 49,626 secondary teachers passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers given last September in testing centers all over the Philippines, Hong Kong and Thailand.
Mary Clarence Gepes Madero of West Visayas State University in La Paz, Iloilo City topped the exam for the elementary level with a rating of 88.80%, while Rhoy Autentico Omega of the University of Mindanao in Davao City topped the exam for the secondary level with a rating of 93.80%.
University of Santo Tomas has the highest passing rate for the elementary level with a 93.81% passing rate, while University of the Philippines Los Baños topped the secondary level with a passing rate of 98.33%.
