MISAMIS ORIENTAL -- A 68-year-old woman and her grandson were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental last Friday.

Luzminda Taboylog alias "Nanay" and her grandson Sevillano Pahunang Jr., 23, were arrested in their residence at Buguac Sta. Cruz in Tagoloan.

Police Chief Inspector Albart Tare said Taboylog has been in their drug watch list for quite sometime and is known for selling marijuana even in the nearby town of Villanueva.

Taboylog said she was forced to sell marijuana to feed 12 of her grandchildren since the children's parents are in prison for charges related to illegal drugs.

Police recovered two pouches containing around 800 grams of dried marijuana.

Suspects will face charges against the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
