MANILA—The polyclinic inside the athletes' village at New Clark City in Tarlac for the 2019 Southeast Asian Games is now up and running.

According to a Facebook post from Dan Lichauco, managing partner of Archion Architects that designed the facility, his group finished the "rushed job" on time for the start of the tournament.

He also said that the facility is being manned by doctors and staff from the Philippine General Hospital (PGH).

The village is a 525-room facility composed of dormitories with bathrooms plus a gym, cafeteria, mess hall, a mini pool and basketball court.

Besides the New Clark City, other venues for the SEA Games include Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, Biñan Football Stadium, the Subic Bay Exhbition and Convention Center, and the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan where the opening ceremony will be held.

The 2019 SEA Games will run from Saturday, Nov. 30, to December 11.

The last time the Philippines hosted the regional games was in 2005.
