MANILA – A newly-arrived passenger from Jordan left her three-month-old son to another woman at the Terminal 1 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Friday.

The passenger was identified as Vilma Lastima from Maco, Davao.

Airport General Manager Ed Monreal said Lastima left her baby to Myrna Pasacao of Las Piñas and promised to return after 30 minutes.

However, Lastima has yet to return to claim her child from Pasacao.

Monreal said they are documenting the incident and will turn over the child to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Airport authorities meanwhile hope Lastima will soon get her baby back.
