MANILA—Weather disturbance Sarah left the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) Saturday morning as it dissipated, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
In its 5 p.m. bulletin, the PAGASA said the weather system turned into a mere low-pressure area about 8 a.m.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon (amihan) is prevailing over the northern and central Luzon, bringing light rains particularly to Ilocos region, Cordillera and Cagayan Valley.
Localized thunderstorms could bring isolated rainshowers to the rest of the country Saturday, said the PAGASA.
The weather bureau said it does not a weather disturbance to hit the country in the next 2 to 3 days.
