MANILA- Vice President Leni Robredo dismissed rumors of a possible pregnancy on Monday describing it as an "insult."
"Ayokong patulan, insulto naman yata 'yun," Robredo said.
(I don't want to respond, that's seemingly an insult.)
She added that such rumors have no basis and are simply untrue.
"Alam naman natin na walang katotohanan at walang basehan para patulan pa natin 'yun," she said.
(We know that those are not true and have no basis for me to respond.)
"Saan ba tayo patutungo kung pati itong mga ganitong usapin (ay papatulan)."
(Where will this lead if we will respond to rumors like these.)
Robredo is the widow of late Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo who died in a plane crash in 2012.
The couple had three daughters: Jessica Marie, Janine Patricia, and Jillian Therese.
