ISABELA-- A 17-year-old boy was killed by a suspected drunk cop on Sunday morning, a witness said.
Mark Anthony Danguilan said he saw how Senior Police Officer 4 Jonathan Ariola shot his cousin, Christian Jay Gallo, 17.
Mark said he was seated next to Gallo in a restaurant when Ariola accosted them for wearing an army uniform.
They were also accused of being thieves but when they denied the accusation, Ariola became furious and fired his gun at Gallo’s head.
Ariola voluntarily surrendered to the police station.
According to Police Chief Inspector Arnold Bulan, chief of police of San Mariano, Ariola was off duty at the time and came from a drinking session when the incident happened.
Bulan assured that he will not tolerate the suspect's act.
The victim's family has decided to sue Ariola.
Elsie, the victim's mother, said Gallo was a kind son and dreamt of becoming a soldier.
Ariola is facing charges of Homicide, Grave Threat and Child Abuse. He is also facing an administrative case.
