A magnitude 4.1 earthquake shook Cagayan on Saturday afternoon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
The tectonic quake struck at 5:25 p.m. and had a depth of 38 km.
It's epicenter was was located 37 kilometers west of Calayan.
Intensity II was felt in Calayan, Cagayan while Intensity I was felt in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte.
State seismologists said there are no immediate damages reported and no aftershocks are expected.
