MANILA - Sixty police personnel have been assigned by the Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group to serve as police escorts during Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit on November 20 and 21.
According to PNP Highway Patrol Group Director Chief Supt. Roberto Fajardo this will form part of the security escort and security patrol of the Chinese President.
“They will be under the control and supervision of the PSG," Fajardo said.
Fajardo said they also got HPG personnel from police districts.
"They will also be conducting FTX and practice. Sila ang assigned sa route control and convoy," Fajardo said.
"We have 33 motorcycles and 12 patrol vehicles. Ordinary convoy and escort but we see to it that we do it extraordinarily," he added.
