Alleged drug lord Kerwin Espinosa on Friday vowed to tell everything that he knows about the illegal drug trade.

Espinosa, a son of slain Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr., arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport early Friday morning after hiding for months in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

"Oo sasabihin ko talaga pero bago ko sasabihin, kailangan ko muna iyung lawyer ko," Espinosa told ABS-CBN News.

(Yes, I will tell all but I need my lawyer first.)

He said he is seeking his safety and his family's, as the names he will reveal "are capable of committing crimes".

"Hinihingi ko ang safety ko at ng aking pamilya. Yung mga isisiwalat ko may kakayahang gumawa ng krimen," he added.

Espinosa was arrested last month in Abu Dhabi after months in hiding.

He and his father were tagged by no less than President Rodrigo Duterte as big players behind the proliferation of illegal drugs in Eastern Visayas.

Espinosa was escorted by a team of Philippine National Police personnel led by Senior Supt. Albert Ferro. The PNP team was assisted by Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Constancio Vingno, Jr.

He was formally turned over to PNP Director General Ronald dela Rosa and was brought to the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame.

Espinosa is expected back the testimony of his slain father, who supposedly named several politicians as protectors of the drug trade.

However, some remain skeptical about Espinosa's impending testimony.

In an interview, Senator Leila de Lima said she will not be surprised if Espinosa tags her in his illegal drug deals.

De Lima believes it is a part of the current administration's plan to destroy her. -from reports by Maan Macapagal, ABS-CBN News
