MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte will still continue working in the next few days despite the advice of his medical doctors to rest, Senator Bong Go told reporters Wednesday.
The former aide of Duterte said that the President will fly to North Cotabato on Friday to hold a dialogue with several farmers there about their concerns.
"Sa Biyernes ay pupunta kami sa North Cotabato, dun sa mga farmers, dahil sa isang programa,” Go said.
(On Friday, we will fly to North Cotabato, to the farmers for a project.)
(They said, 'President, hear us out.' The President replied, 'Wait for me, I'm going there.' So, there will be a dialogue with the farmers about their problem in North Cotabato, because they said they cannot use the tractors that were given to them.)
Malacañang previously said Duterte will fly to his hometown Davao to work from home and rest due to exhaustion and lack of sleep.
