2 arrested in NAIA drug bust

PASAY CITY -- Authorities arrested two men who picked up a baggage filled with more than a kilo of suspected “shabu” in a drug bust at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Saturday night.

Mark Anthony de Leon, 26, and Bryan Levandino, 26, were arrested by police, together with the NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group, at the FedEx Express in the International Cargo Terminal on NAIA Road, Pasay City.

The baggage, which arrived last October 21, was from a man named Matumona Kinzolani Guylain from Congo.

Authorities are still conducting investigation while the two suspects are under the custody of the Bureau of Customs.
