MANILA – Around 180,000 Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel will be receiving their 14th month pay on November 18.
This is the second year that the PNP will be giving 14th month pay to its non-uniformed and uniformed personnel.
On top of the 14th month pay, PNP personnel will also receive a P5,000 productivity enhancement incentive and P5,000 cash gift.
A policeman with the rank of Police Officer 1 (PO1) earns around P14,000 a month, while the PNP chief has a basic pay of P67,000.
Chief Supt. Lurimer Detran, PNP’s deputy director for comptrollership, said the fund requirement for the year-end bonus was P3.4 billion. - report from Henry Atuelan, DZMM
