CEBU - A female police officer in Cebu on Friday accused a senior officer of harassment for allegedly being "touchy".

According to the officer, she spoke with her colleague about his behavior, but he continued to make her uncomfortable.

She then decided to file a formal complaint against him.

According to Cebu City Station 3 Chief Bienvenido Miral, the complainant told him that the latest incident took place on November 4 inside a police station.

The female officer, ranked Police Officer 1, was sitting when her colleague, ranked Senior Police Officer 4, sat beside her and touched her legs, then continued to do so despite her protests.

She escaped his attentions when his phone rang, the complainant said.

The PO1's complaint was sent to the Investigation and Detection Management Branch of the police, which has filed a recommendation to the Regional Internal Affairs Service.
