MANILA—A low-pressure area (LPA) will bring scattered rains in parts of Luzon and Visayas Tuesday, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
Mimaropa, Calabarzon and the provinces of Aklan, Antique and Capiz will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, said weather specialist Meno Mendoza.
The weather disturbance was last spotted 320 kilometers northwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan as of 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon or amihan will bring isolated light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of rains due to localized thunderstorms.
