MANILA—Philippine authorities, along with US Homeland Security agents, rescued 7 minors in an anti-cybersex operation in Taguig City, the US embassy said.
In a statement Friday, the embassy said 2 Filipino suspects were arrested in the anti-human trafficking operation. The victims were reportedly between 2 and 14 years old.
The minors were turned over to the Women and Children Protection Center of the Philippine National Police.
Authorities have yet to file charges against the suspects.
