MANILA—A 4.3-magnitude aftershock jolted Cotabato Wednesday, the Phivolcs said, a week after a "moderately strong" tremor hit the area.
The tectonic tremor struck at 6:22 p.m. approximately 22 kilometers southeast of Tulunan town with a depth of 1 km.
Damage to structure is not expected, the Phivolcs said.
Intensity II was felt in Kidapawan City, the Phivolcs said.
The areas that also felt instrumental intensities were:
- Intensity II - Koronadal City
- Intensity I - Tupi, South Cotabato
The Phivolcs said the temblor was an aftershock of the Oct. 16 earthquake, which also struck Tulunan and nearby areas, leaving at least 7 dead and more than 60 wounded.
