MANILA - Malacañang said Sunday it welcomes the latest Social Weather Stations survey results showing higher net satisfaction rating for President Rodrigo Duterte's cabinet.

SWS said last Friday the Cabinet's net satisfaction rating rose from moderate to good in the third quarter, up by 6 points to +32 in September from +25 in June.

Presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo said the survey showed that Filipinos "recognize and appreciate the efforts of the Administration in stabilizing the prices of basic commodities" as the survey was conducted in September when inflation was at 6.7 percent.

"Notwithstanding the favorable survey numbers, the members of the official family of the President will not grow complacent in addressing national issues but will continue to work tirelessly as we lay down the foundation of a stronger and more robust society," Panelo said in a statement.
