MANILA - A 4.1-magnitude earthquake jolted Cotabato and nearby areas on Saturday, the Phivolcs said.
The tremor struck at 3:23 p.m. approximately 22 kilometers (km) northeast of Tulunan town with a depth of 6 km.
The tectonic temblor was an aftershock of the 6.3-magnitude earthquake that struck Tulunan and a number of areas in Mindanao on Wednesday, the Phivolcs confirmed.
The areas that also felt the recent tremor were Makilala town, Cotabato; Magsaysay town, Davao del Sur; and Kidapawan City in Cotabato.
The Wednesday earthquake left 7 dead and over 60 injured, local officials said.
