SUV rams through basement parking wall, into elevator bank at Taguig hospital

MANILA—An SUV rammed through a wall and into an elevator bank of a hospital at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, at high speed on Wednesday morning, 

CCTV footage showed the Mitsubishi Montero Sport apparently charging from the basement 4 parking and crashing into the entrance leading to the elevator area of St. Luke's Medical Center.

The incident happened at about 7:30 a.m.

According to initial information from the Taguig Traffic Sector, the vehicle, with plate number NBP 2262, was driven by Johann Dizon, 53.

No one was reported injured, including the driver of the vehicle.

Authorities have yet to identify the cause of the vehicle accelerating and they have yet to talk to the driver, who went home after picking up a patient. — Report from Michael Delizo, ABS-CBN News
