The Professional Regulation Commission announced Wednesday that 526 out of 1,195 passed the Chemist Licensure Examination given this month.
Gio Ferson Bautista, of the University of the Philippines-Los Baños, topped the Chemist Licensure Examination with a rating of 93%.
John Noel Maape (UP Los Baños) came in second with 91.25%, while Christian Cariño (UP Diliman) placed third (90.25%).
UP Diliman was this year’s top performing school with an 87.93% passing rate.
Meanwhile, 720 out of 845 passed the Chemical Technician Licensure Examination given this month.
Diamond Jeff Paug, of the Cebu Institute of Technology-University, topped the Chemical Technician Licensure Examination with a rating of 92.50%.
Caryl Joy Esmeris (UP Los Baños), Karen Joseph Genosa (Cebu Institute of Technology-University), and Razel Jallorina (Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas) came in second with 91%.
