Senators said Albayalde is not off the hook after the upper House held hearings on the “ninja cops” controversy. A committee report on the hearings is expected this week.

A possible topic is the results of its deliberation on the poll protest filed by Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. against Vice President Leni Robredo. For the past few weeks, the High Court was expected to issue a ruling on the case. But the delay has added fuel to various speculations. Robredo’s lawyers called on the Supreme Court to adhere to its on rules on the case. ANC will be ready to break significant developments in this story.
