MANILA - Police discovered Monday a townhouse in Taguig City that may have been used to store some 100 kilos of shabu.
The townhouse was leased by some Chinese nationals. When they failed to pay rent, the management forced open the property and found boxes where narcotics may have been stored, the police Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) said.
The shabu may have been shipped from overseas, repackaged at the house and sold in other areas, said the police unit.
Drug residue was found in the containers at the house, added investigators.
Policemen were still checking the area, as of this posting.
