Recognizing the problem
Vice President Leni Robredo urged officials of the Duterte administration to admit that Metro Manila is suffering from a transport crisis. She said saying there is no transport crisis means nothing will be done to solve the problem or alleviate the conditions in the streets. She called on the Duterte administration to solve the problem, starting with admitting there is a problem. MMDA chief for EDSA Bong Nebrija called the claim of a transport crisis an “exaggeration” and “unfair.” He said this administration is aggressive in solving the problem.

Flag raising
Outgoing Supreme Court Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin is set to hold his last flag raising ceremony today. Another flag raising ceremony to note is the one to be led by PNP Chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde. He might make a statement on the controversies he is facing. Also, incoming Metro Manila police chief Brig. Gen. Debold Sinas is expected to hold his first flag raising ceremony at the headquarters of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
