MANILA - Several barangays in Quezon City, Caloocan and Malabon will experience temporary water supply interruption on Sunday, Maynilad said.
The service disruption will allow Maynilad to replenish its reservoirs in preparation for peak demand on Monday morning, the water concessionaire said in a statement.
Among the areas that will have low water pressure to no water supply from 12 noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday are the following:
Portions of Baragays 80-85, 132-136, 138-155, 156-164 and Baesa
Portions of Barangays Acacia, Potrero, Tinajeros and Tugatog
Portions of Barangays Baesa, Bahay Toro, Bungad, Katipunan, San Antonio, Sangandaan, Sauyo, Talipapa, Tandang Sora, Unang Sigaw and Veteran's Village
Mobile tankers will deliver potable water to affected areas, said Maynilad.
There might be a delay in the resumption of water service in some areas due to their elevation, distance from pumping stations, and the volume withdrawal from mainlines, it added.
