MANILA - The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday released a video to mark the first 100 days in office of its top enforcer, Director General Ronald ''Bato'' Dela Rosa.

Posted on the PNP's Facebook page, the three-minute clip shows Dela Rosa leading anti-drug operations and various police activities, entertaining selfie requests with supporters and visiting injured enforcers.

Dela Rosa, a staunch ally of President Duterte, helms the government's crackdown illegal drugs, which has seen the deaths of thousands of drug suspects in just under three months.

The PNP has claimed that over 700,000 drug suspects have surrendered to authorities amid the campaign that has supposedly pulled down crime rates nationwide.
