Students aged 10-15 were encouraged to thank their mentors for their sacrifices and dedication by mailing letters through the Post Office.

Cash prizes await lucky winners of the raffle and national and regional competition, PHLPost said in a statement.

The winner of the national competition will also represent the country in the Universal Postal Union's (UPU) letter writing contest in Switzerland, it added.
