MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte's administration retained a "very good" net satisfaction rating in the 3rd quarter of 2018, the Social Weather Stations (SWS) said Friday.

The latest figure that puts it at +50, however, was a drop from the +58 rating it achieved in the previous quarter.

Results from the survey, conducted from September 15 to 23 among 1,200 respondents, showed that 65 percent of adult Filipinos were "satisfied" with the general performance of the government, 19 percent were "undecided," while 15 percent were "dissatisfied."

The major polling firm said the Duterte administration's net satisfaction rating fell one grade in all areas, except for Metro Manila.

It declined to "very good" in Mindanao (+67), "good" in Balance Luzon (+48), and "good" in Visayas (+42).

It stayed "good" in Metro Manila (+40), although down by 7 points from June.
