MANILA—A low-pressure area (LPA) will bring scattered rains in parts of Luzon Friday, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Camarines provinces, Aurora, Quezon and Catanduanes will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
The weather disturbance, located 710 kilometers east of Baler in Aurora, is expected to dissipate after making landfall, weather specialist Ana Clauren said.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will get partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
The weather agency is also monitoring another LPA brewing east of the country.
