MANILA- It seems that all's well that ends well for Communications Secretary Martin Andanar and former Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson.
This after Uson announced Wednesday her resignation from the Presidential Communications Operations Office and hinted at a possibility of running for office next year.
Speaking to reporters Thursday, Andanar said he would support Uson on whatever she decides to do.
"Alam ko maraming nag-invite kay Mocha na tumakbo bilang party -list congresswoman sa kani-kanilang mga party-list. Whatever she does, if she runs for politics, I will support her,” he said.
(I know many people invited Mocha to run as a party-list congresswoman in their respective parties.)
Uson on Wednesday said she is open to the possibility of running in the 2019 midterm elections and would consider the comments of her supporters online.
"Kung ano po ng mababasa kong comment sa Facebook, 'yung sinasabi ng supporters doon, doon ko po titingnan," she said.
(It depends, I'll look at what my Facebook supporters will say.)
"Senator, Congress—hindi ko po alam pero open po tayo," she added.
Uson, a popular social media personality, was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte as assistant secretary at the PCOO in 2017.
