MANILA—President Rodrigo Duterte on late Monday night visited the wake of a University of the Philippines (UP) student who was a victim of cyberbullying.

The young man's remains lie in G. Araneta Ave., Quezon City.

The president also sent flowers and spoke with the student's family, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) director Guillermo Eleazar said.

The 22-year-old student, who was reportedly a member of the Sigma Rho Fraternity, was found dead inside their house in Marikina City Saturday afternoon.

The fraternity is currently under investigation after photos and screenshots of a group chat of its supposed members on hazing-related violence became viral on social media.
