PANGASINAN – After President Rodrigo Duterte apologized for errors in a "narco-list" he released naming officials allegedly involved in the local drug trade, Congressman Jesus "Boying" Celeste hopes his name will be cleared as well.

Celeste, who represents the 1st District of Pangasinan, said that there are mistakes in the administration’s narco-list, because he was included despite his innocence.

He said he suspects his political enemies were the ones who named him.

He subjected himself to drug tests and even invited the provincial police to search his home and resort to prove his claim. He insisted there are no drug laboratories in Bolinao.

Right now, Celeste said, he has no choice but to wait for word from the government and hope for the best.

Regardless, he still supports DUterte’s war on drugs, he said.

Duterte previously cleared 5th District Representative Amado Espino Jr., Board Member Raul Sison, and former Provincial Administrator Raffy Baraan, who were on his drug list.
