MANILA - The Supreme Court on Sunday announced the suspension of office work in Metro Manila courts on Monday, September 30, in light of the nationwide transport strike.
Court Administrator Midas Marquez made the announcement Sunday.
Suspension of office work in affected areas outside Metro Manila will be at the discretion of respective executive judges.
Members of the Alliance of Concerned Transport Organization (ACTO) will be holding a transport strike to call for the suspension of the jeepney modernization program.
Several cities have also announced the suspension of classes.
