MANILA - Embattled senator Antonio Trillanes IV met with some leaders of the Magdalo group over lunch inside his office on Thursday.
In a photo released by his office, Trillanes is seen sharing pizza with his legal counsel Atty. Reynaldo Robles and some leaders of the Magdalo group.
Trillanes was part of the group of young junior military officers that staged uprisings against the government in 2003 and in 2007.
The senator, an outspoken critic of the Duterte administration, was arrested on Tuesday after a Makati City Court granted the Department of Justice's request for a warrant of arrest and hold departure order against him over revived rebellion charges for the 2007 Manila Peninsula siege. He was freed after posting P200,000 bail.
