Kasunod ito ng pahayag ni Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Assistant Deputy Chief for Operations Brig. Gen.

"Duterte and his generals are using the age-old trick of red-tagging to vilify their critics... and condition the public mind into accepting violent and politically repressive measures like a crackdown on democratic and progressive movements or outright military rule," aniya.

"I think we should reach out to the military and to the police and to tell them, 'Look you guys, the constitution says you should be part of government, protectors of the people. I think it's high time we come together and defend what we have gained in the EDSA Revolution,'" ani Rosales.

"Etta, you might be charged of being a plotter because Duterte said that some soldiers are involved in the plot, and you are saying reach out to them, so you might be included,” aniya.

“The opposition must continue. As long as they remain non-violent, the people can support them. But it is important that while the majority rules this country, the rights of the minority must always be respected. And that can be done through the voice of the opposition,” aniya.

“The President usually has access to information that not all of us have access to so if the President believes that there is a threat, he is working from good information. So we should believe whatever (he says)," ani Arroyo.
